Most people in North America know about Colette and it is really a wonderful store but not everyone knows about Merci. It is also a beautiful store but quite different from Colette. It is the antithesis of Colette, as Merci has an Earthy quality about it. Less slick, but no less conceptual in execution. You can buy clothes, furniture, paper, pens and even some glasses (wearable & drinkable). Worth a visit next time you are in Paris.

Boutique Reborn is a really fantastic store in Montreal with an online shop. Brigitte who owns the store does a great job buying really interesting pieces. She is carrying these two Alexander Wang bags that I am dreaming about. They are leather and not fabric!
